SCUBA
You must be a certified diver to do scuba and must present your diving card or certificate before taking equipment. All equipment can be hired or just the tanks and weight belts. There are provisions on the boat to store a number of bottles and these can be refilled at a number of places around the Whitsundays. If you would like to learn diving and become certified we can arrange an instructor to come to you or for you to join a class at one of the resorts. If you would like to dive the outer reef we can arrange for a seaplane to pick you up at your boat and return you at the end of the day.

GOLF
You can golf at South Molle or Lindeman island or putt-putt golf at Hamilton. Equipment can be hired. This would be our recommendation if there are more than a couple of people playing as room on the boat is restricted. Alternatively, if you are keen we recommend tacking a couple of days on to your holiday and staying at Luguna Quays resort which is rated the number one resort golf course in Australia and is truly superb. Whatever you choose we will make the arrangements on your behalf.

HORSEBACK RIDING
Horseback riding can be done at Luguna Quays. They have a superb marina and dining facilities and are worth spending a night at. Perhaps if the men play golf the ladies may prefer to go riding (or the other way around).

CLAY SHOOTING
This is a lot of fun and is available on Hamilton Island at the "Target Club". You can also partake in target shooting or paintball, which is fabulous for a whole group. Best to combine with an overnight stay at Hamilton.

TENNIS
This can be done at virtually all the resorts and with the exception of Hayman is included in your anchorage fee. Rackets can be hired but best if you have your own shoes.

BUSHWALKING
There are some really spectacular bush walks on a number of islands which are controlled by the National Parks. If you are interested, our briefer will give you the details on which are the better ones. There are a couple that require special permission which our staff will be happy to arrange.

TRIP TO OUTER REEF
This can be done by high-speed boat, which leaves from Hamilton Island or by plane, which will pick you up at your boat. It is essential if everyone is leaving the boat for the day that it is tied to a fixed mooring and not left at anchor. Talk to our staff at the briefing and they will advise you where to stay and arrange for the pick up.

GAME FISHING
This is available from a number of resort islands or if there is a reasonable number going they will pick up at selected anchorages. If you wish to do this we will provide costs and arrange bookings for you.

RESTAURANTS
Most of the resorts have a variety of restaurants. These can be booked from your boat by contacting the resort on the radio. They will make the booking and arrange overnight anchorage for you. We will supply details of call signs and frequencies.

SHOPPING
The only two places with reasonable fashion shopping are Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island however for essentials there is quite a few. Let us know what you are after and we will advise.

JETSKI
These can be hired at Hamilton Island at the front beach. The marina staff at Hamilton will assist you and you can hire a buggy to explore the island while you are there.
